Wedding Venue
The Hotel is perfect for a wedding, as we can easily accommodate 10 - 250 people. We have a civil wedding licence, so therefore you can have your wedding ceremony in one of our banqueting rooms.
If you choose a three course meal then you get complimentary coffee and room hire. We also offer table plan, place cards, menus, cake stand and knife, and toast mastering services. For weddings of 60 or more a complimentary nights stay in our bridal suite and top table flower arrangement is provided.
We have a wide variety of menus to suit all tastes and we can even tailor make your menu and drinks package to suit your requirements.
The Elvet Suite - Suitable for up to 350 for a wedding ceremony, and 80 or more people for a sit down meal, this room has its own private bar, dance-floor, stage, rest rooms, air-conditioning, cloakroom and entrance. This room can also be split into three smaller rooms to accommodate less people.
The Restaurant - The room retains many of its original features with dark wood panelling and fireplace, and can accommodate up to 70 people for a sit down meal.
The Bailey Room - This room has air-conditioning, natural daylight, and private rest rooms. It can accommodate up to 40 people for a wedding ceremony and 33 people for a sit down meal.
The Drawing Room - This room has natural daylight and a fantastic fireplace. It can accommodate up to 20 people for a wedding ceremony, and 14 people for a sit down meal.
