Modern comfort and traditional charm come together at the Three Tuns Hotel, a 16th century coaching Inn. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Durham City, two miles from the A1 (M) at Junction 62, two miles from the Durham Train Station, and has car parking facilities for up to 60 cars.
The Three Tuns Hotel offers a comprehensive and flexible set of conference and meeting facilities, ranging from the 350 seat Elvet Suite, which can be divided into three smaller suites, to the Victoria Room which can accommodate 2-6 people.
The Elvet Suite is 248 m2 and located on the ground floor and enjoys natural daylight and air-conditioning. There is capacity for 300 people for a dinner, or 240 people for a dinner dance. The Elvet suite also splits into three meeting rooms.
The Bailey Room is 63m2, is on the ground floor and has private toilet facilities, natural daylight, air-conditioning. There is capacity for 40 people for a meeting/presentation or 30 people for a dinner.
The Drawing Room is 30m2, located on the 1st floor with natural daylight, capacity for 20 for a meeting/presentation and 14 for a dinner.
The Victoria Room is 13.4m2, situated on the 1st floor with natural daylight and capacity for six people for a meeting.
