The Station Hotel is an imposing Victorian red sandstone building located in Ayr town centre, next to the railway station. The hotel is situated close to the famous Ayr Racecourse, which hosts the Scottish Grand National, Ayr Silver and the Gold Cup races.

Stay at the Station Hotel, Ayr, and leave your car with us in the hotel car park when you are away. The hotel is ten minutes drive from Prestwick Airport, and 15 train ride, and ideal for Stay & Fly.
Each of the 70 bedrooms are en-suite and equipped with television, radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and iron and ironing board. All bedrooms and public areas also benefit from wireless internet connections. We have several rooms which can accomodate families of 3, 4 and even 5 on request.
The hotel has a traditional lounge bar offering a wide range of Scottish malts and serves a variety of tempting dishes in a very relaxed environment. The Arran restaurant offers you a great blend of Scottish and European cuisine served with a modern twist, whilst the Gallery Lounge serves a wide variety of tempting dishes in a very relaxed environment.
The conference and banqueting facilities available at the hotel can host up to 200 guests, making it an ideal venue for holding your wedding or private party. Excellent golf and leisure facilities can be found nearby, and booked by our friendly staff prior to your arrival.
We have both car and coach parking available. Our car park is free to all guests and can accommodate up to 50 cars, however sue is on a first come first serve basis as it is a shared car park. Please inform reception upon check-in should you require parking for your vehicle.
Pets are welcome at the hotel for a £10 fee per animal for the duration of your stay.
