The Carlisle Swallow consists of 92 well appointed bedrooms, including 47 doubles and 43 twins. Two double rooms also have an additional single bed for families. All rooms provide a bath / shower, tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV with Freeview, telephone, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and trouser press.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel to all guests.
Available 24hrs including breakfast, teacakes & scones, sandwiches & snacks. Main meals are also available from our nightly menu or a la carte.
With smoking areas located outside the entrance to the hotel and restaurant, smoking is not permitted in any of the hotels public areas or accommodation
With one of the largest hotel car parks in the city accommodating well over 150 vehicles, you won't have a problem finding a space. It's free for guest use, so no barriers and tickets to negotiate.
The car park has more than enough room for four coaches, allowing easy transit for guests to and from the main entrance.
Two double rooms have an ante-room with a single bed. The ante-rooms allow you plenty of space within the double room and don't cost you any extra for interconnecting. There is also the benefit of added privacy, and the door is not lockable. The room also has its own window and lighting. Our restaurant has a children's menu. In addition, they will love the swimming pool.

Ramped wheelchair access from the side car park to lobby level and reception. Disabled room is located at ground level. Restaurant & Bar access require exiting and re-entering via separate entrance due to steps leading down to this area from the lobby.
Small dogs are welcome in guest accommodation but not in the bar or restaurant (except Assistance Dogs) during food service times. There is a small charge for pets in guest accommodation which covers additional cleaning. We are happy to welcome assistance dogs free of charge.
